A child’s reading skills are important to their success in school. It also helps to improve students’ communication and language skills. In addition, reading can be a fun and imaginative time for children that opens doors to all kinds of new worlds for them. A few of the Greenville High School students went to share their love of reading with younger students as they took part in the Real People Read Program at both George E. Elementary School (on March 4, 2020) and Unity Elementary School (March 6, 2020). The following students attended the Real People Read Program: Miata Farley, Iyannah Alford, Joygina Benning, Chanler Neal, Camille Godfrey, Cyrah Powell, Nadiyah Louder, Ariel Hall, and Aliyah Sewell.
