To celebrate and honor Black History Month, GHS ELA Teacher Ms. Childs had her 10th Grade World Literature students research influential figures in Black History. After researching their figures, the students had to make posters highlighting their figures’ greatest accomplishments and contributions. The posters were then put on display in the hall, and GHS teachers and staff voted on the best posters. Congratulations to 1st place winner Gage Manship and 2nd place winner Ahmad Ferrell!!! And a huge shout out to ALL of the students who participated — the final posters came out amazing!
